Captain #1 began as sounds echoing out of the Florida Everglades into abandoned farmhouses and trailer homes along the sides of state roads. Those songs slowly made their way through south Florida till they crawled inside a man. That man is named Tim and he now lives in the foothills of Georgia and creates music with his companion, Jenny, and other friends in a small house in Athens, GA. They travel to cities to play you those lonely songs born in the everglades; songs about murders, about love, about angels and hydrogen balloons.

 Captain #1 have played over 130 shows in 34 states. They've played with a lot of great bands including Mt. Eerie, Fake Problems, Finn Riggins, Paleo, The Low Anthem, Beaten Awake and many other great bands you've never heard of.

In the Spring of 2010Tim is undertaking his first Scooter Tour.  He'll be touring around the southeast, bringing his songs to the masses, on his 50cc scooter with nothing but a guitar on his back and a magic music box.  This tour combines Tim's love of scooters, back road journeys and live music.
